Palmhouse: A Wedding Venue in Evanston You Need to Check Out

Today we have to highlight a special space in the Northshore, Palmhouse. Located only 20 minutes away from Lake Shore Drive, Palmhouse used to be a Sherwin Williams back in the 80s so out the gate, we’re talking HUGE square footage. 

Some other perks that come with the venue: 

• You have 2 suites on site that you and your partner can use to get ready. 
• Two bars that come with a custom bar package you can design to your liking. 
• An outdoor space for an outdoor ceremony as well as two indoor spaces you can either use for indoor ceremony or a cocktail hour. 
• A bigger reception room for the dinner and dancing portion of the day. 
• Tables and chairs included — sometimes, venues charge for their inventory, Palmhouse includes it in your package.
• Basically, a free for all when it comes to the decor. We’ve seen string lights draped along the celiing, disco balls, or sheer draping. The sky is the limit as long as the owner Monica green lights it — and she probably will, she’s cool.
