It's without saying that every single one of our couples have inspired us in different ways. Dive into some of our blog posts here and get more of that inside scoop. We're always aiming to provide the most value to all the lovers that find themselves on our page. If you have any topics you wanna hear more about we're all ears. DM us or email us your ideas.
It’s no news that our planet needs some major TLC and while one would say to themselves: I’m only one person, what difference can that make? Short answer: A LOT. Being sustainable can be as easy as ditching that plastic bag at Marianos and opting to use a cute canvas bag OR saying “no thanks” to plastic straws and going sans straw or carrying a reusable metal one.
Without delving too deep into environmental issues (trust me, I can go on and on. Check out the book Give a Sh*t if you wanna learn more about that green life), we put together a quick list of other things you can add to your wedding registry that not only are good quality eco-friendly products, but actually pretty dope.
First up, we got that kitchen pot set that every home needs. Not only is the Our Place line very stylish, but their mission and branding is :: chef’s kiss :: Selena Gomez collaborated with them and her set is stunning. Bold blues and magentas always get me, now I just need my Spanish tile kitchen of my dreams for the win!
We mixed and matched our set and couldn’t be happier with our pots and pans. Totally had to convince Brian that we NEEDED a spruce steamer too.
The line Material Kitchen is one you’re going to want to check out for other kitchen essentials. In search of the perfect cutting board? Check out their grippy board made of recycled materials and renewable sugarcane.
After cooking all those delicious meals with your new Our Place pot and pan set, we gotta store those leftovers. Seed and Sprout has some gorgeous food storage options. They got me when I saw their bread storage bin and unbaking paper.
Ok, let’s move from the kitchen and talk laundry. We all grew up with Tide and Downy in the laundry closet but we can’t deny that the empty jugs most likely end up in a landfill somewhere. Well friends, welcome to the future of laundry! It started off when first-time mom Sarah wanted to do her part in reducing the waste on our planet and created her brand Blueland. This line not only carries laundry tablets, but options for your dishwasher and hand soap. Don’t be a dud (ha! get it? Or am I lame? lol).
And lastly, to all our lovers of travel / our couples that are planning their honeymoon. Let’s travel in style. Paravel’s luggage selection is made up of recycled materials and vegan leather. Anyone that can repurpose plastic water bottles into chic luggage, got us planning our next trip. You coming?
Thanks for making it to the end lovers. If you know of any other sustainable brands, drop them down below.
Happy Earth Day babes.
Here’s to adding our grain of sand together,
the Magnanis.
