Daniela + Alex started their day getting ready at their respective parents’ homes. It was such a sweet way to start the day that would lead them to the aisle hours later.
After some getting ready pictures, everyone made their way to the Brix on the Fox where Daniela finished getting dressed. It was to no surprise that 1. Daniela looked STUNNING in her Bon Bon Belle gown. But 2. she not only had an outfit change, she had a shoe change. QUEEN.
As her mom and sister finished getting her dressed, Daniela did a first look with her bridal party marking some major feels to come for the rest of the day.
As Daniela retouched her makeup, Alex was getting in position for their first touch. They both knew they wanted to wait to see each other during the ceremony, but also wanted to share a private moment to read their vows to each other. As they held each other’s hand while they took turns reading their vows, the emotions continued to run high.
Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. Daniela retouched her makeup (again) lol and got ready to walk down that aisle. This was the day they were both waiting for — it was time to become the Garcias!
They were surrounded by all their favorite people in person and in spirit. As the ceremony concluded, the walls of the Brix were filled with the cheers and clapping in celebration of the Garcias!
Formal portraits were taken, dinner was served and speeches touched every single heart in the room. As the night progressed, Daniela snuck off for her outfit change. This gorgeous couple and their guests danced the night away. Getting married on a Sunday did not hold anyone back. That dance floor was packed til the very last minute.
Some takeaways for our future couples:
– If you want to go the traditional route and not to do a first look, consider a first touch to have a private moment with your SO before aisle time.
– Outfit changes are not a must, but will always be a good idea.
– Leave room for a day of coordinator. And let us tell you, Myrna with Events One Eleven will TAKE CARE OF YOU. She’s a rockstar! Take it from us, we did not budget for a planner or coordinator for our wedding — our ONLY regret. Don’t skip on this, trust us.
